Location data (BIS*Metro app)

The BIS*Metro app uses your device location to mark attendance at clock-in and clock-out. For marketing field staff, once you allow it in the app, it also records your location in the background between clock-in and clock-out, about once a minute, to report your field route and distance travelled. A notification is shown while this runs, and it stops at clock-out. This data is used only for attendance, field-visit and travel reporting within the organisation, and is not shared with third parties. Raw location points are deleted after 90 days; the day's distance and a simplified route are kept with the field-visit report.

Security Policy

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computer servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a highly secure environment.
